July 1961: US FM, a part of the short-lived US Radio magazine, includes this trade ad from KDEN FM. Most FMs weren’t yet stereo and Denver only had two FMs. In 1969 KDEN FM would become KVOD which was a commercially supported classical music station. It became the HAWK in 1995 and now is the Mountain.
