BPC member Pat McNulty passed on Sunday, November 12th, 2023.

Born in Cleveland, Pat graduated from Wheat Ridge High School in 1974. His first job in radio (following training at the Columbia School of Broadcasting) was at country formatted KCCC in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He then went to Colorado State University, earning a degree in Marketing in 1982.

From 1982 to 1988, Pat was at the second KADX FM (which had been KRKY), Castle Rock, where he was morning drive host and Program Director. In 1988, he joined KOSI starting as morning newsman and weekend host. Within six months he was morning drive host. In 1992 he left KOSI for KVOD, where he was morning host the next seven years. When KVOD flipped to rock (the HAWK) in 1999, he joined KEZW, where he played a role for 17 years. He was full-time through 2009 and part time fill-in host until 2016.

In 1999, he also joined KMGH Channel 7 as booth announcer. He was heard on Channel 7 for 24 years. He also did industrial voice work, and owned “Word Construction Company.”

In 2012, he authored a novel “Great Music Radio .com”. He was a longtime member and supporter of the Broadcast Pioneers of Colordo.

Our thoughts are with Pat’s family, especially his wife Carol who he met in high school and married over a decade later, and their three children, Michael, Emily and Dan. He was a special man and he will be greatly missed.
