Bill Struck, former president of the Broadcast Pioneers and distinguished broadcaster. He came from Ohio to Colorado as mid-day DJ at KLZ in 1974. He would become program director and later sold airtime for the station before leaving in 1981.
After work at KKBB and in Colorado Springs, in 1987 he’d return to KLZ and KAZY as Vice President and General Manager. Later, he led stations in Salt Lake City and El Paso. He served as regional Vice President for Clear Channel for over a decade before retiring in 2005.
